38. William P.³ Shanley (Mary Ann² Coogan, Terrence Francis¹) was born in Howard, Howard, IA 16 MAY 1893. William died 08 APR 1959 in Cloquet, Carlton, MN, at 65 years of age. His body was interred APR 1959 in Cloquet, Carlton, MN, Maple Grove Cemetery.

He married Alma Wagner in Lucan, Redwood, MN. Alma was born 10 OCT 1897. Alma died 20 JUN 1994 in Moose Lake, Carlton, MN, at 96 years of age.

He resided in Granite Rock, Redwood, MN 1900. He appears in the 1900 US Census.

He resided in Sleepy Eye, Brown, MN MAY 1930. The obituary of his brother, James, stated his residence.

William P. Shanley and Alma Wagner had the following children:

• 153 i. Evangeline⁴ Shanley was born c.1912. Evangeline died 26 AUG 2007 in Luverne, MN, at 95 years of age. She married George Golla.

• 154 ii. Geraldine Shanley. Geraldine died 08 AUG 1973 in Davudun, NC, at 60 years of age. She married John Skehan.

• 155 iii. Wallace Shanley was born 22 NOV 1920. Wallace died 26 OCT 1998 in Roswell, Fulton, GA, at 77 years of age.

• 156 iv. Patricia Shanley (still alive).
