He married Jean Rankin in Bulyea, SK, CANADA, 26 JUL 1913. Jean was born 1896. Jean died 18 NOV 1984 in Regina, SK, CANADA, at 88 years of age.

He resided in Granite Rock, Redwood, MN 1900. He appears in the 1900 US Census.

He resided in Bulyea, SK, CANADA MAY 1930. The obituary of his brother, James, stated his residence.

Dennis Shanley and Jean Rankin had the following children:
