The parents of the former lad paid little attention to their son's absence, believing that he was out with a party of campers. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards were suddenly disillusioned when the report was spread that both lads had been drowned. Several children living in the vicinity, it seems, were aware of the double drowning but none of them divulged the circumstances."
