Father Piquet, S.M., William J. Coogan of Sydney, to Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. Daniel Spillane, of Harrington-street, Sydney. 14 MAR 1896 - [PAGE 7] [HALL-COOGAN] - The marriage of Miss Harriet Hall, daughter of Mr. J. Hall, of King-street, Newtown, with Mr. F. T. Coogan, third son of D. J. Coogan, of Sydney, took place on the 26th February at St. Joseph's Church, Newtown, the Rev. F. Battie conducting the service. The church was beautifully decorated and very largely attended long before the ceremony began. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a travelling costume of fawn cloth, trimmed with white silk and bead passementerie, with hat to correspond, and was attended by Miss Mary Coogan and Miss E. Cramper as bridesmaids. Mr. J. Hall, jun., and Mr. F. J. Coogan were groomsmen. After the service the wedding party, which included the mother of the bride, Mrs. J. Hall, Mrs. Monty Browne (aunt), Mrs. McKisson and Mrs. Castle (sisters of the bride), and Mrs. Thompson, adjourned to the residence of the bride's parents, where the wedding breakfast was served, and a large number of friends joined the numerous party above mentioned in wishing the newly-wedded couple a happy and prosperous future. The wedding presents were numerous and handsome. Mr. and Mrs. F. T.
