Research:

This is the family of Dennis Coogan.  He lived in Glasgow, 
Lanarkshire, Scotland.  His birthplace is currently unknown.
There is evidence that Dennis' father was named John but there
are too many questions to be certain about this.

Dennis' son, Patrick Coogan, emigrated to the United States in 
the late Nineteenth Century and settled in New London County, 
Connecticut.

This family has also been found as COGAN.
