The Rev. [R. Minte] performed the double-ring nuptials before the alter decked with white [gladioli]. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Geraldine Sherry Kay of Los Altos, Calif, and Lewis Douglas Kay of Palo Alto, Calif. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Coogan of Bogota, Colombia and Great Bend. BRIDE Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a linen [...cade] gown trimmed in heirloom Irish lace designed with a bell skirt, scooped neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. A four-yard train of silk illusion with stephanotis fell from orange blossoms which belong to the bride's mother. She carried an old fashioned bridal bouquet of forget-me-nots, baby roses, white carnations and baby breath. ATTENDANTS Honor attendants were Miss Betsey Moore Kay, sister of the bride and Frank H. Skelding of Menlo Park, Calif., and Gambia, West Africa. Miss Kay wore a floor-length gown of cranberry linen and carried an old fashioned bouquet. Flower girl was Little Miss Courtney Moulds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Moulds of Palo Alto. She wore a floor-length gown of white eyelet over pink organdy, a coronet of rose-buds and carried a nosegay. Ringbearer for the ceremony was Master David Oldham who carried the rings on a pillow covered with lace handkerchieves belonging to the bride's grandmother. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Oldham of Sausalito. Ushers were John Kay, brother of the bride, of Palo Alto, Desmond Sanford of London, Calif, Charles Kendall of Philadelphia, Pa., and Menlo Park. Organist, Thomas Harmon, played baroque selections for the ceremony. MOTHERS For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Kay chose a green and blue silk print with matching accessories and a gardenia corsage. The mother of the bridegroom is in Colombia and was unable to attend the ceremony. RECEPTION Large baskets of white flowers set the scene for the reception which was held in the bride's home. Mrs. Kris Lindsey of Menlo Park was the guest registrar. The bride threw here bouquet from a balcony of the family home which was designed by her grandmother for this tradition. For a honeymoon in Pebble Beach, the bride wore a blue wool souffledress and jacket. The bride attended Monterey Peninsula College, University of Greenoble, France and is a member of the Los Altos Hunt. Mr. Coogan is a graduate of Stanford University where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and is a former member of the San Francisco Bachelor's Association and the Los Altos Hunt. He is a member of the Great Bend Daily Tribune advertising staff. Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was given by Miss Linda Raffel in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Sidney Raffel, dean of the Stanford School of Medicine.
