Wedding Notice of Patricia Coogan & Nicholas Lawrence Bjorn

NUPTIALS IN VIRGINIA
FOR PATRICIA COOGAN

Mr. and Mrs. W. Gordon Coogan of New York and Madison, N. J.,
have announced the marriage of their daughter, Patricia, to
Nicholas Lawrence Bjorn, son of Nicholas K. Bjorn of Garden
City, L. I., and the late Mrs. Bjorn.  The marriage was 
performed by a justice of the peace in Arlington, Va., on
Wednesday.

The bride is a granddaughter of Mrs. James L. Coogan of this
city and the late Mr. Coogan, and of Edward C. Potter of
Sarasota, Fla., and the late Mrs. Potter.  She is a great-
granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore A. Havemeyer
of New York and a grandniece of the late Bishop Henry Codman
Potter.  Mrs. Bjorn attended the Convent of St. Elizabeth,
Convent, N. J., and the Madison, N. J., Academy.

Mr. Bjorn recently was discharged as a lieutenant from the
Army Air Forces after four years' service.  He attended
Columbia University.  After a wedding trip to Connecticut,
the couple will reside at 425 East Eighty-sixth Street.
