COOGAN - CAULFIELD

The wedding of Miss Mary R. Coogan, daughter of Thomas J. Coogan of
Haydenville, and John T. Caulfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J.
Caulfield of Williamansett, took place yesterday morning at 9 at 
St. Mary's church, Haydenville, with Rev. Richard T. Hoey, pastor,
performing the single-ring ceremony.  The bride's only attendant 
was Miss Marion Caulfield, sister of the groom, as maid of honor,
and the bride's brother, Thomas, Jr., served as best man.  Ushers
were Laurence Coogan and John Mitchell.

The bride's gown of white satin and net had a high neckline and a
short train.  Her finger-tip veil of illusion had a crown of 
orange blossoms.  She carried a white praier book covered with 
gardenias and stephanotis.

A wedding breakfast was held at the Hotel Northampton after which
the couple left on a wedding trip to Virginia beach.

Mrs. Caulfield graduated from Williamsburg high school in 1935,
attended Northampton Commercial college and is employed at the 
Springfield Armory.  Mr. Caulfield graduated from Holyoke high
school and Bay Path institute and is also employed at the Armory.
