MR. AND MRS. COOGAN

Norman and Dorothy (Buthy) [sic] Coogan of Liverpool celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday at Greenpoint Senior
Living.  The celebration was hosted by their children, grand-
children and great-grandchildren.

The couple were married April 27, 1940, in St. Malachy's Church in
Brooklyn.  They met on a blind date set up by Norman's friends
Matt Whittaker and Buddy Peters and their girlfriends, Henrietta
and Alice, friends of Dorothy.

Dorothy worked at Community General Hospital and enjoys ceramics
and home.

Norma retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. and enjoys fishing
and home repairs.

The family includes daughters, Patricia C. French and Mary C.
Stevenson; grandchildren, Michele French, Tim French, Melissa
French, Tom French, Victoria Stevenson and Drew Stevenson; and
great-grandchildren, Jillian, Stephanie, Halley, Eliza, Adam and
David.
