HANGARTER WEDS IN FOREST HILLS - The marriage of Miss Emma Catherine Hangarter, daughter of Mrs. Andrew Henry Hangarter of 108-55 Jewel Ave., Forest Hills, and the late Dr. Hangarter, to Robert Francis Coogan, son of Mrs. William J. Coogan, also of Forest Hills, and the late Dr. Coogan, took place July 1 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs R. C. Church, Forest Hills. The Rev. William McClimond, C.M., a cousin of the bridegroom, officiated. The bride was escorted by her brother, Dr. Theodore M. Hangarter. Her sister, Mrs. William Thomas Hildebrand, was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Thomas H. McDermott, another sister of the bride, and Mrs. John Richard Coogan. John Richard Coogan acted as best man for his brother. The ushers were Thomas Catterson, Robert Breslin, Bertram Ahearn and William McDermott. The bride attended St. Joseph's Academy, Brentwood; Mary Louis Academy, Jamaica, and the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, Manhattan. Coogan of 1363 E. 58th St. announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Mary Margaret Coogan, to James Michael Kelly of 1454 E. 56th St. Miss Coogan is a graduate of Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School and is employed with the New York Telephone Company. Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Midwood High School and is employed by the Socony Vacuum Oil Company. He served with the U. S.
