W. COOGAN - The funeral of Mr. W. Coogan, principal of the firm of W. Coogan Pty. Ltd., who died at his home, Sandy Bay, on Tuesday, took place at the Cornelian Bay Cemetery yesterday. Requiem mass was celebrated at the Church of the Holy Ghost, Sandy Bay, by Father R. Hyland, who also conducted a short service at the church at 10 a.m. and officiated at the graveside. Chief mourners were Mrs. W. Coogan (widow), Miss Daisy Coogan (daughter), Messrs. A. F., R. F., and C. F. Coogan (sons), James and Arthur Coogan (brothers). The firm's premises at Launceston and Hobart were closed until 1 p.m. The large gathering included representatives of the Hobart and Launceston staffs and Mr. H. W. Elliott, manager of the Burnie branch. 09 OCT 1941 [COOGAN - On October 8, 1941, at a private hospital, Launceston, Arthur Flude Coogan, dearly loved husband of [H. COOGAN - Mr. Arthur Flude Coogan, who died at a private hospital in Launceston on Wednesday, was for some years associated with the Launceston firm of W. Coogan and Co. as manager of the Brisbane-street shop. He was also an executive at the firm's Invermay factory. Born at Launceston, the late Mr. Coogan was educated at the Launceston High School. Some years ago he was actively interested in poultry breeding and showing. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Ronald and David, who are serving with the forces abroad, and three daughters, Gwenda (Mrs. R. Hartley, of Stoke Pogee, England), Lola (Mrs. H.
