Nun Famous for Charity Work

CINCINNATI, Oct. 9 - Sister Redempta, 72 years old, widely known as 
a Sister of Charity in this part of the country, died at the Good 
Samaritan Hospital here today. She had been a member of the order 
for fifty years and celebrated recently her golden jubilee 
anniversary. She was born Nellie Coogan in Fayetteville, Ohio. She 
left two brothers, James Coogan of Cincinnati and William Coogan of 
Fayetteville; also two sisters, Mrs. Mary McConn of Fayetteville and 
Julia Campbell of Columbus...
