http://www.cooganresearchgroup.com/crg/index.htm 13 December 2010 Obituary of Mary Pauline Clark Coogan ____________________________________________________________________ (extracted from "Attleboro Sun Chronicle" [MA], 12 JUN 2001): MARY COOGAN, 89 NORTH ATTLEBORO -- Mary Pauline Coogan, 89, of Johnson Street, died Monday in the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Attleboro. She was the widow of James Coogan. Born in Greensboro, N.C., on Aug 27, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Coltrane) Clark. She was a graduate of the University of the State of New York School of Nursing. Mrs. Coogan had received her nursing training at Kings Park State Hospital and Fordham State Hospital, both in New York, where she had worked as a registered nurse. She retired from the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was a member of the Central Congregational Church in Attleboro Falls where she was also a member of the Women's Union. She was also a member of the Sturdy Memorial Hospital Nurses Association. She is survived by two sons, Paul Coogan of Worcester and James Coogan of North Attleboro and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Central Congregational Church, 115 Commonwealth Ave., Attleboro Falls. Burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum. Arrangements are by the John J.
