Michael was born Oct. 23, 1913, in Belfast, Ireland, and had lived in the Camrillo area for the past two years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1930 to 1934. Michael was a machinist in the aerospace industry for over 40 years. Michael is survived by his two sons, Robert M. Coogan (wife, Nancy) of Bonita, Calif., and Michael J. Coogan Jr. (wife, Claudia) of Camarillo; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, in 2003. A time of visitation and viewing will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at Pierce Bros. Griffin Memorial Chapel in Camarillo. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the Church of St. Mary Magdalen in San Diego, Calif., with burila following at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1930 until 1934 and for over years worked as a machinist in the Aerospace Industry. He is survived by his two sons: Robert M.
