Obituary of Mary Coogan

MANLY RESIDENT DIES;
FUNERAL TO BE FRIDAY

MANLY - Mrs. Mary Coogan died of a heart attack early Friday at her
apartment.  

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart church
in Manly.  Brides funeral home is in charge.

Born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. McGourty at Waukon, Mrs. Coogan
came to Manly 30 years ago.  Eight children were born, 4 of whom are
living.  They are: Mrs. Ralph McLean of Denver; Mrs. W. G. Miller and
Mrs. William O'Brien of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Ben F. Lake of Manly.
There are 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  The husband
died 3 years ago.

Mrs. Coogan was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the oldest member,
both in membership and age, in Sacred Heart Guild at Manly.
