Obituary of John G. Coogan 
(extracted from "Farmingdale Observer", 15 DEC 2000)


John G. Coogan, 87, died on Dec. 9, 2000. He was a former professor 
of chemistry at SUNY Farmingdale. Class of 1935 graduate of Notre 
Dame. He was a dedicated coach of Farmingdale Little League baseball. 
Predeceased by his first wife Helen. Husband of Blanche (nee Bell). 
Father of John, Patricia, William and Daniel. Brother of William 
Coogan. Grandfather of three. Great-grandfather of two. Arrangements 
were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. 
James RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
