Obituary of James Coogan

JAMES COOGAN, 82, 
CALAMINE, IS DEAD 

DARLINGTON - James Coogan, 82, for many years town chairman and a 
member of the town and school boards of Kendall township, died 
Monday [18 JUN 1934] in a Dodgeville hospital.  His home was at 
Calamine, about six miles northwest of here.  

He lived for more than 80 years in Kendall township.  

Survivors are a son, John, and daughter, Mrs. John Smith, Kendall, 
and three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Fleming and Miss Margaret,
Calamine, and Mrs. West Ray, Browntown.  

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Michael's 
church at Calamine, with the Rev. Lawrence Bindle officiating.  
Burial will be at Mineral Point.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY
MAN IS DEAD AT 82

DARLINGTON, Wis. - James Coogan, 82, resident of Lafayette county,
died in the Dodgeville hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Coogan formerly served as town chairman and was a member of the
school board at Willow Springs.  He is survived by a son, a
daughter and three sisters.
