He died of complications of a stroke Tuesday at the Hemet Valley HealthCare Center. Inland Memorial Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements. Mr. Coogan, who was born in Madison, N.J., lived in Hemet for 20 years. He owned Coogan and Sons, a landscaping firm in Westminster. He served in the U. S. Army Air Forces during World War II and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.
