COOGAN, FORMER KANSAS CITY BROKER, DIES Kansas City, Jan. 2 - James A. Coogan, for several years in the fruit and vegetable brokerage business in Kansas City and well known in this trade throughout the country, died Saturday [27 DEC 1924] in a sanitarium at St. Joseph, Mo. Mr. Coogan had been in bad health for a year or two prior to his death and had not been in business at that time. He was 45 years old. A widow, two sons, Allen and Frank, and a brother and two sisters survive him. Funeral services occurred Tuesday at the Church of the Annunciation, Kansas City, requiem high mass being said at 10:30 o'clock. Many members of the trade were present.
