Obituary of Florence M. (Patterson) Coogan

FLORENCE M. COOGAN

Florence M. Patterson Coogan, 96, of Old Saybrook, Conn., formerly 
of Holland Township, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, in Gladeview 
Health Care in Old Saybrook.  

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Stephen and Ann 
Daniels Patterson.  

Personal: Her husband, Edmund G., died earlier.  

She had lived in Holland Township for many years before moving to 
Connecticut.  

Survivors: two sons, John P. of Gastonia, N.C., and Robert E., and
his wife, Kathleen F., of Clinton, Conn.; a niece, Joan Ottaviano 
of East Northport, Long Island, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and 19 
great-grandchildren.  

A daughter-in-law, Bernice F. Coogan, died earlier.

Services: 9 a.m. Saturday in the W.E. Johnson Funeral Home, 24 
Church Road, Holland Township, followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in
Milford. Call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial
will be in Milford Union Cemetery.

Memphis, TN 38105.
