Obituary of Donna M. (Anderson) Coogan

Donna M. Coogan of Musket Road, Attleboro, a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on
Friday, March 27, 2009 at the LifeCare Center of Attleboro.  She was
the beloved wife of forty-eight years to Raymond H. Coogan.

Born Donna M. Anderson in Attleboro, Donna was a daughter of the late
Donald and Madeline Anderson.  She was raised in the Attleboro Falls
section of North Attleboro and was a graduate of North Attleboro High
School.

Mrs. Coogan was currently employed for the past twenty-five years as
an associate in the local banking industry.  A communicant of St.
John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro, Donna was an avid reader and
enjoyed crafts and quilting.  Her life centered around her family.
Donna was a devoted wife and mother and in later years enjoyed the
company of her grandchildren and was also blessed with the birth of
a great-grandson.

In addition to her beloved husband, Raymond, Donna is survived by her
three loving sons: Timothy J. Coogan and his wife Valerie, 
Christopher J. Coogan and Sean P. Coogan and his wife Natalie, all of
Attleboro; nine grandchildren: Kira Coogan, Michael Coogan, Julie
Coogan, Corey Coogan, Adam Coogan, Noah Coogan, Nathan Coogan, 
William Coogan and Evan Coogan; a great-grandson: Jacob Michael 
Coogan; a brother: Donald Anderson of Attleboro; three sisters: Kathy
Adinolfi of North Attleboro, Georgia Wildenheim of Woonsocket, RI and
Madeline Anderson of Taunton; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Mass of
Christian Burial on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 10 AM in St. John the
Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro.  At the request
of the family, visiting hours are respectfully omitted and private
burial will be held at a later date in St. John's Cemetery, West
Street, Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers and those wishing to remember Donna in a special
way may make memorial contributions to: Billy Andrade & Brad Faxon
Charity for Children, P.O. Box 3305, South Attleboro, MA 02703 and/or
American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or at

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Duffy-
Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
