Coogan, 58, of 142 Ridgewood Drive died Wednesday [26 SEP 1984] at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Coogan was a life resident of Syracuse. She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church, East Syracuse. Surviving are her husband, Jack, retired district chief of the Syracuse Fire Department; four sons, Collin of Jamesville, Christopher of Cicero, Patrick and James; two daughters, Colleen Basile of Liverpool and Elizabeth Stopher of Manheim, West Germany; a sister, Margaret O'Connell of Needham, Mass.; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
