Anna L. Carter Coogan, 75, of Jasonville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 
3, 2002, in Terre Haute.  She was born Aug. 20, 1927, in 
Indianapolis, the daughter of George and Mildred (Reynolds) Carter.  
She had worked in retail for Winn-Dixie Groceries in Sarasota, Fla., 
until retiring in 1998.  She was a member of Briley Chapel in Lewis.  
Survivors include four daughters, Glenda Moyer, Brenda Totton, Linda 
Totton and Lorrie Totton; one son, Donald Miller; one brother, John 
Carter; 11 grandchildren[ and eight great-grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Coogan.  Memorial 
services at Briley Chapel are pending.  Memorial contributions may 
be made to the Arthristis [sic] Foundation.  A.R.N. Cremation 
Services in Indianapolis is handling arrangements.
