She had been ill but a week with typhoid fever. Her case was a serious one and the best of medical aid was given her. Friday morning she appeared to be somewhat better, but later in the day a change came for the worse and she gradually grew weaker until the end came. [photo; caption: "MISS ALICE COOGAN"] The deceased was born and had always lived in this village. She was about 17 years of age. She was educated in the High School at thsi place. She was a member of St. Paul's Church and Sunday school, and of the Children of Mary sconnected with that parish. She possessed a sweet disposition and was beloved by a large circle of friends who will sincerely mourn her early death.
