Mark Coogan   
   Born: May 1, 1966, Manhasset, NY
   Runner - 800, 1500, Mile, 2000, 3000, 2M, 5000, 10000, Marathon

A steeplechaser at the University of Maryland who later clocked 
13:23.72 for 5000 meters, Coogan moved to the marathon and made 
the 1996 U.S. Olympic team with a 2:13:05 second-place Trials
performance.  He and wife Gwyn Coogan, a 1992 Olympian at 10,000 
meters, live in Frederick, MD, with their two daughters.
