B. Wakeman, health officer, announced today that two new cases of infantile paralysis have developed in Hornell in the past few days. One of the victims is litle Helen Linehan, of Pardee street, who has been sick for about a week and the other is Helen Tobin, of Union street. The Tobin girl is only twenty-one months old and has been sick since Friday. Only a few days ago the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Coogan [NOTE - Louis N. Coogan] died of infantile paralysis.
