Research:

This is the family of Patrick Coogan.  He lived in Lanarkshire, 
Scotland.  

Patrick's son, John Coogan, was born in Wishaw and lived in the
vicinity of Motherwell and Craigneuk.  He emigrated to the 
United States in the early Twentieth Century. He moved his 
family to the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania.  From there, 
John's children spread to Detroit, Michigan, and Chicago, 
Illinois.

One of Patrick's great-grandsons, Francis 'Pinky' Coogan, was 
a driver for Henry Ford.  

This family is probably connected with the other Wishaw Coogan
family.

This family has also been found as COOGANS.

Winifred is a descendant of Patrick through his grand-daughter, 
Winifred Coogan.

Liza is a descendant of Patrick through his grand-son, Thomas 
John Coogan.

Colman (AKA Jim Coogan) is a descendant of Patrick through his 
grandson, James F. Coogan.  He has conducted extensive research 
on the family and recently donated his work to the John Heinz 
Museum of History (Western Pennsylvania).  Information in this
