This is the family of William Coogan. He lived in the townland of
Tullaroan, County Kilkenny, Ireland.

William's son, William Coogan JR, emigrated to the United States 
in the late Nineteenth Century and settled in Somerville 
(Middlesex County), Massachusetts.

This family may be connected to the Somerville Coogan family of
John P. Coogan (born 1865).
