Research:

This is the family of Ellen Bridget Coogan.  She was born in Ireland
and emigrated to the United States in the mid Nineteenth Century.  
She settled in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, where her descendants
still live today.

This family has a confirmed connection with another Coogan family
from Schuylkill County - that of Richard Coogan (Shenandoah).  Around
1884, Martin Murphy (son of Michael Murphy and Ellen Bridget Coogan)
married Bridget Coogan (daughter of Richard Coogan and Mary [     ]).

There is also a significant probability that this family is related
to a third group of Coogans from Schuylkill County - that of Patrick
T. Coogan (Heckscherville).  This link has yet to be established.
