http://www.cooganresearchgroup.com/crg/index.htm 21 October 2012 Researcher (Location): CRG Sponsor (no links to a researcher yet) Research: This is the family of John Coogan, a barber. He lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When he and his wife died in the mid Nineteenth Century, his mother-in-law raised their children. John's son, Daniel George Coogan, was a baseball player. As a student at the University of Pennsylvania, he played for the school's team. Following graduation, he played for one year with the Washington Nationals (major league baseball team). He was later active with several college baseball programs as a coach. From Daniel's World War I draft registration, it is known that he had relatives in Trenton (on the border of Northumberland and Hastings counties), Ontario (ON). He also spent several years in Canada as a physical education director (although we are not sure where). We are currently looking for someone to link with this family and to take over the search! ************************** 01. [ male01 ] COOGAN Children of [ male01 ] Coogan: 02.
