Research:

This is the family of Peter Coogan.  He lived in County 
Monaghan, Ireland.   

Peter's son, William Coogan, lived (1868) in the townland of
Aughnamullen and was married in Ballybay [Tullycorbet].  He 
later moved his family to Armagh Town (County Armagh), Northern 
Ireland.

Peter's grand-son, Michael Coogan, moved to Dublin and Belfast 
(County Antrim), Northern Ireland in the 1890s.  Members of this
branch later moved to England.
