This is the family of Michael Coogan.  He was born in Ireland and
emigrated to the United States in the mid Nineteenth Century.  He
settled in Hartford County, Connecticut.  The family later moved 
to Meriden (New Haven County).

This family has also appeared as COGAN and COGEN.
