Research:

This is the family of William Coogan. He was born in Ireland and 
later emigrated to the United States (perhaps in the late 
Nineteenth Century).  He settled in New York City, New York.

William's son, Eugene R. Coogan, moved to Newark (Essex County), 
New Jersey.  The family later moved to nearby Irvington.

Members of this group now live in Colorado.

This family has also been found as COGAN.
