Research:

This is the family of Timothy Coogan.  He was probably born in 
County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.  There is evidence that he was 
living in Dublin on 02 FEB 1836 (at the baptism of his son, Michael).  
In the mid Nineteenth Century, Timothy moved his family to the 
United States.  

It is possible that Timothy originally settled in Pennsylvania, but 
he eventually settled in Hamilton County, Ohio.  

Many of Timothy's descendants still live in the Cincinnati area, 
although they have sometimes lived in Covington County, Kentucky 
(across the Ohio River).

This family has also been found as KUGAN.
