This is the family of Michael Coogan, a weaver who lived in 
County Carlow, Ireland.  

In the mid Nineteenth Century Michael's son, Dennis Coogan, 
moved to Staffordshire, England.  His descendants lived there for 
many years.  Now the family lives in the Nottingham area.
