Research:

This is the family of Bernard Coogan.  He was born in Ireland and
lived in Ballisodane, County Sligo.  

Bernard emigrated to the United States in the early Twentieth 
Century and settled in New York City, New York.  There is a 
possibility that some of his family remained behind in the area
near "Carroughbada" / "Carrowgobbadagh".

Bernard's son, John Bernard Coogan, later moved to New Jersey, 
where his family had connections with Landing and Morristown.

This family may have used the surname COGAN in Ireland.
