Research:

This is the family of Thomas Coogan, a tailor, who lived in
County Kilkenny, Ireland in the late Nineteenth Century.  Due
to economic troubles prior to World War I, Thomas moved to 
Manchester (Lancashire), England.  Much of the family still 
lives in the United Kingdom to this day.

It is possible that this family is connected to another COOGAN
family that lived in Prestwich, England.

Thomas' great-grandson was Steve Coogan, a comedian and actor 
probably best known for his character "Alan Partridge."

We are currently looking for someone to link with this family and 
to take over the search!
