Autobiography of Transition

by

Clarence Victor Coogan

I began to write biographies of my son and daughter envisioning a couple of hundred pages of each to include in the genealogy I have compiled. I sent the first six pages to Charles for editing. He suggested that I concentrate on my own life. He is no doubt right. I am the only one still capable of writing it.

I will try to be as factual as possible, though I don't feel my personality will draw admiration from anyone including myself. Seldom in my life have I ever felt completely confident. I'm sure we all have said or did things which shame our memory and wish we could redo. I've had my share of such experiences stemming from an overzealous pre-teen ego to the horrible transition of reality.
