Born in 1831at Rose Crea, Co. Tipp, Ireland. Married Mary McDonnell who had been born in 1835 also at Rose Crea. She died at Castleiney, Co. Tipp, May 1, 1921. Pop Quinn sent his mother-in-law money each year until the time of her death.
